Sherrie Silver - a perfect example of an inspiring and successful woman

Sherrie Silver is a successful marketing specialist and a philanthropist but most people know her as an instructor of African dances.

I encourage you to follow her story below:)

For the earlier part of my childhood I grew up in Africa. My father tragically lost his life one month before my birth, so my mother was left to raise me alone. I grew up valuing the value of water, food and health. I remember myself having to go to the well to collect water for my grandmother so that we could cook. I founded a charity called 'WallRebuilders' aimed to rebuild the broken hearted, those suffering as a result of famine, poverty and war. Since losing a close cousin to malaria and seeing other friends and family members fight the disease I became inspired to focus on fighting this deadly disease. I use my dance skills wherever I can, to bring people together and make a difference. I travel around villages in Africa distributing blankets, mosquito nets, cooking materials, sewing machines and the household basics.

I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades. I am an actress and dance choreographer based in the UK, originally from Rwanda. I have been blessed to have worked with some of the biggest names out of Africa, America and Asia.

Aside from that I am also a creative director, marketing consultant and philanthropist. I graduated from the University of Essex with a Business Marketing degree. When it comes to marketing your brands and products in a unique ways, you are in great hands!
One of my aims is to get the people of all ages fit while having fun, another aim is to get African culture recognised around the world. One way I do this is by holding dance Masterclasses around the world.

Private dance classes and workshops are also available for schools, wedding/bridal parties and individuals. They can be fitness focused, skill focused or a just purely fun.
Besides being a dance choreographer myself, I have a large database of dancers and models worldwide which are available to for live performances, video shoots, photoshoots and event hosting.

I have worked in Canada, Dubai (UAE), Egypt, France, Uganda, Poland, Germany, Rwanda, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, Cyprus, Burundi, Anguilla and South Africa.
Artist credits include: Wizkid, Sean Paul, Fuse ODG, Olamide, 2Face Idibia, Tiwa Savage, Flavour N'abania and more.
